Articulated Socket for VAG Suspension

The fastening nuts in this upper mount are designed to be captive during assembly, but over time they corrode, so when attempting to remove them, they may loosen.

A uniquely shaped extension bar eliminates spring restriction and connects to a double-sided socket to remove the fastening below the support where access is limited.

OEM fasteners can have 6 or 8 sides, which is why the tool includes a double-sided socket.

3/8" female square drive with a 1/4" male extension bar, 80 mm long, plus a socket with 6 points (on one side) and 8 points (on the other side) with a 1/4" female square drive.
